Why bother?
Gratitude is not homework and it is not forced positivity. It will not fix a bad day, it does not cure depression, and it does not replace a therapist. Sometimes it does shift the focus a notch — and sometimes that is exactly enough to get through the evening.
So there are no streaks here, no counters, and nobody minding if you don’t come back for a fortnight. The mailbox just sits there.
